During Covid-19 pandemic, Communication in a group migrates online for student’s assignment. For student who work together to solve specific problems, web forums serve as communication hubs. In the traditional scholarly interpretation of the term, it could be viewed as group communication. Group communication means three or more individuals interacting to accomplish a certain task, and it is generally perceived that individuals can accomplish more by working with others in groups than they can by working on their own. Group interactions migrate online and take the form of Interpersonal-mediated communication. Through email, zoom, Webex and other Web 2.0 technologies, groups collaborate. Students use Internet tools such as Google Docs that enable them to work remotely on our group projects. For all those participating, online group communication seems beneficial, help learners several web interaction deficiencies for groups, such as poor social functioning and excessive group size that could lead to poor cooperation of the group. It is therefore important to understand how modern online communities function and whether, in their traditional understanding, interaction between individuals in such a format can qualify as group communication and fully replace face-to-face group interactions.

What were you thinking and feeling?

I feel that in any types of situation we have especially as students who need to complete tasks and assignments in groups. In the pandemic Covid-19, Group communication can be implemented in online sessions such as Zoom, Webex, Whatsapp video call or even chats can be as a medium for us to communicate with other members. In some situation, difficulties for those who have bad internet connection can disturb the process in crucial for group communication to be done.

If it arose again what would you do?

Group communication problem can be occurring at any time. Therefore, we can communicate effectively with culturally-diverse members, using an effective language that easily to understand, resolve group conflict by demonstrate good relationship and leadership.

Conclusion

What else could you have done?

Group communication requires interaction regardless of online session or face-to-face session. Each group member is affected by the action of the other members. It can be at the disadvantage and advantage to the others as well. Group members are working together to achieve in completing certain goals. Group communication is also emphasizing by how understanding the purposes, roles and advantages of working in group may lead to successful group task and objectives
